Records and documents

Keep reusable business records and supporting documents organized. Keep useful metadata easy to find and link the original evidence. Protected values belong behind their reveal controls, even when a related record can be searched.

Before you start

Record viewing, editing, attachment access and secret reveal each retain their own permission checks.

  1. Open Records and select documents, contacts, accounts or codes. Search the permitted metadata and open the relevant record.

  3. Inspect the saved links and attachments from their permitted views. Use separate reveal controls for secrets rather than copying them into general notes. The record retains its saved metadata, files and links; search exposes permitted metadata while protected secrets keep their reveal controls.

Limits and prerequisites

Storing a file does not make it a processed expense or a verified identity. Vault secrets have separate access.
