Channel management

Connect channel distribution to the correct property, physical inventory and rate plans. Connection, inventory ownership and publication are separate states; troubleshooting should follow the source result before the team attempts recovery.

Before you start

Use the appropriate distribution permissions. Live writes need mapping, ownership, provider readiness and required approvals.

  1. Open Distribution, select the intended property and channel and inspect the connection status and displayed blockers. A connection status is only one part of readiness, especially where mapping or live-write approval is still missing.

  2. Match listings to the actual unit or combination and rate plans. Review existing reservations before changing ownership so the mapping reflects the accommodation the team operates.

  3. Use Troubleshooting to inspect events, sync and booking or publication issues. Resolving an alert is not itself a provider write; read the underlying result before choosing a recovery action.

Limits and prerequisites

Saving a mapping or resolving an alert does not itself publish rates or change a provider reservation.
