Guest alerts

Turn a guest alert into a clear review of the source conversation, payment or task. The alert’s state is a signal for attention; the linked record explains the work and whether the underlying problem has been addressed.

Before you start

You need access to Today and to any underlying record you open. Task creation and alert actions check their own permissions.

  1. Open the alert from Today or the notification bell and inspect its source, time and current state. This identifies what triggered attention before the team starts deciding on a response.

  2. Use your permitted access to open the conversation, payment or task. The source record gives the operational context needed to distinguish a real unresolved problem from an outdated alert.

  3. If an alert was closed too early, restore it through the supported action. Then review the linked work, because reopening attention does not itself complete the underlying task.

Check the result

The alert records its current state, while the linked conversation, payment or task shows the actual work outcome.

Limits and prerequisites

An alert is a signal to review, not proof of a confirmed complaint or settled payment.
