Licenses and coverage

Keep reusable business records and supporting documents organized. Use the supporting document to check dates and the exact units included. Keep the record useful without treating a saved document as proof of legal renewal.

Before you start

You need access to the license record and its supporting file. Editing dates or covered units requires the relevant Records permission.

  1. Open Records > Licenses and select the license for the intended property or units.

  3. Save and inspect the license’s unit coverage and links. Recording a document does not itself renew or validate the license. The license record shows its dates, supporting file and covered units, available through the permitted linked records.
