Tasks and recurring work

Organize team work with status, due dates and ownership. Look for an existing task and recurrence before adding another item. A clear owner, date and supporting comment help the next person understand what remains to be done.

Before you start

Choose the appropriate property and verify whether the task already exists. Creating, editing and archiving can require different permissions.

  1. Open Tasks and choose the list, board or calendar. Open a task to inspect its owner, status and due date.

  3. Assign a clear owner and due date, add the operational context, then verify status from the task row. Comments and attachments should explain what remains to be done. The task row shows the saved owner, due date and status; comments, attachments and configured recurrence remain attached to that task.

Limits and prerequisites

A recurring occurrence can be intentional. Check the series before deleting or recreating work.
