Cleaning and turnover

Plan cleaning around the physical unit, operating day and actual arrival and departure windows. Assignment, cleaning status and channel-release results describe different parts of readiness and should be read together before promising a unit.

Before you start

Select the operating date and physical unit. Status changes and planning overrides require their specific permissions.

  1. Open Cleaning, select the operating date and physical unit, and compare departures with expected arrivals. This reveals the time available for turnover before assigning work or interpreting a status.

  2. Changing cleaning status needs its own permission; courtesy overrides and plan changes need planning permission. Choose the action that matches the intended change rather than treating a status update as a new plan.

  3. Read the assignment alongside shifts and leave, then inspect any pending review or channel release. A recorded cleaning state does not establish that a provider accepted an availability change.

The cleaning plan shows the unit’s assignment and current status for the selected day, including any pending review or channel-release state.

A proposed assignment does not prove availability, completed cleaning or passed inspection.
