Receipts and expenses

Review receipt information before linking it to accounting. Read the original supporting file alongside the saved receipt. The same vendor and amount can appear more than once, so compare the document date and currency.

Before you start

Keep the original supporting file available. Viewing, correcting, matching and marking paid have separate permissions.

  1. Open Receipts and open the relevant row. Check vendor, date, amount, currency and supporting file.

  3. Check vendor, document date, amount and currency together. Inspect existing linked entries to avoid recording the same expense twice. The receipt shows the verified vendor, date, amount and currency, with its file, linked entry and current review or payment state.

Limits and prerequisites

Extracting an amount or attaching a receipt does not prove payment. Check for duplicates before recording an expense.
