Travel suggestions

Use suggested travel details as a starting point for staff review of a guest’s message. Comparing the suggestion with the original wording helps preserve the difference between airport arrival, property arrival and a request for an extra.

Before you start

A travel suggestion must be present. Saving its details requires reservation editing permission and review against the source message.

  1. Open the original guest message alongside the suggestion. The guest’s wording is the evidence for the proposed fields, particularly when a time or destination could have more than one meaning.

  2. Compare flight, date and time with the source message, distinguishing airport landing from expected property arrival before accepting a field. A pickup or early-arrival hint may need a separate decision and should not silently become a changed booking.

  3. Save only the information supported by the message, or dismiss the suggestion. The saved travel plan changes through that decision; requests for extras still need their own review.

Accepted travel details appear on the reservation; dismissed suggestions do not change the saved arrival plan.

Limits and prerequisites

Travel hints do not approve an extra, change booking dates or send a guest message. Flight information is personal data and is pruned after the configured retention workflow.
