Fees and charges

Record a stay charge with its description, amount and collection context before following the outcome. Approval, card collection and invoice treatment are separate stages, especially when a provider result is uncertain.

Before you start

Charge guests permission is required. Fee catalog editing and charge approval have their own permissions and readiness checks.

  1. Choose Add charge from the reservation’s Money tab and select a catalog fee or enter the supported charge details. A catalog fee provides the service context; supported custom details should describe the actual charge clearly enough for later review.

  2. Check amount and currency alongside the description and supporting evidence. Identify whether this is an extra or an eligible stay balance, and look for an existing record of the same event.

  3. Submit once and read the approval or payment state; a pending approval requires another person’s decision. An uncertain card result calls for reconciliation before another attempt, because repeating the action could duplicate collection.

Check the result

The stay shows the charge, its collection method and current approval or payment result; invoice treatment remains separate.

Limits and prerequisites

Recording a received payment does not move money. An extra charge and a stay-balance payment have different accounting treatment.
