Leave management, handled by Sixto

Requests

Start with the dates, not a message thread.

Staff choose their leave type and dates in My day. Sixto previews the count and expected return using the configured work pattern and calendar. Missing calendar readiness is shown before payroll approval.

Review and coverage

See what the absence changes.

Authorized managers review the affected shifts and assigned cleans. Approval updates availability and releases affected work. If the manager requests reassignment, Sixto uses eligible staff and leaves unresolved coverage visible.

  • Permission-based impact review
  • Explicit approval or decline
  • Reassignment without invented availability

Balances and privacy

Available days, with the calculation in view.

An entered starting balance and tracked approved usage form the vacation balance. Approved future days are reserved separately. This is a tracked balance, not a calculation of statutory accrual. Supporting documents have restricted access and retention controls.

  • Tracked, reserved and available days
  • Employment configuration stays explicit

Example workflowLeave management
3steps: request, review, decide

A staff member requests two working days. The manager reviews coverage, approves the absence and chooses whether to reassign affected cleans. The available vacation balance then reflects the reserved days.
