Smart locks you can actually manage from Sixto.
Seam is a service that connects many smart lock brands through one API. With Seam as your lock provider, Sixto creates and revokes guest codes for each stay, manages team codes, shows the lock activity log and, for Owners, unlocks a door remotely with a typed confirmation.
Live. Guest codes per stay, team codes, activity and remote unlock through Seam.
What it does
Guest codes per stay
Codes are scheduled for each stay's window. If one fails to program, Sixto can hand out a backup code.
Team codes
Create, change and remove codes for cleaners and staff on a lock.
Activity log
Unlocks, locks, code set or failed, online and offline and battery events, with who did it.
Remote unlock for Owners
Owners can unlock a door from Sixto after a typed confirmation, when the setting is on. Every unlock is audited.
Device events by webhook
Seam events reach Sixto as signed webhooks, so alerts do not wait for the next scheduled read.
How it works
- 01
Create a Seam workspace and connect your lock accounts there.
- 02
An Owner stores the Seam API key and webhook secret in Sixto, encrypted.
- 03
Set Seam as the lock provider. Sixto lists your locks and maps each one to a unit.
- 04
Codes are created for each stay. Your team sees status, activity and alerts on the Locks page and on each reservation.
